Table #10 - Erin
In a table speed-run, Erin shares what it’s like to visit her old neighborhood, while on her way to dinner with a friend.
The Café Table
I would say... oh! I am trying to think of a one-word description, which would be ‘transitory.’
I used to live in New York. I don’t live here anymore. I’m visiting my old neighborhood, and I’ve seen about thirty people in the past two days that I know, even on the street.
I moved for work, moved out of the city. I guess it's an interim period. Assessing where I really want to be, because I lived here for four and a half years.

What its teaching me? To let go - I think is a huge life lesson.
I’m like ‘oh, I still have my people here, I still have life here.’ Even though I’m not physically a resident of New York, there’s still connection to home here for me.
