Table #15 - Ben
Ben shares a challenge that’s unconventional to hear in New York.
The Café Table
I would describe this chapter of my life as a breath of fresh air. It's the chapter that I get to write myself. This chapter has been challenging. It’s had its highs and lows. I’m still writing it. I don't know where it ends, or how it ends, and I don’t care. - This chapter is very open.

W:

Open in what way?

I don't have a storyline in mind. There's not an arc that I am trying to follow. I’m done trying to accomplish something with this chapter - I’ve tried that. So, it's open for me to keep writing it, in whatever form that takes.

W:

You mentioned that it's challenging, and when you said that I assumed that it was because you're pursuing some goal or something is happening that you have to overcome, but you also say that you’re not trying to achieve something big. So what about it is challenging?

I think the challenge has been to not try and accomplish something - to just accept myself for where I am and what that looks like and being open to the universe and where I find myself.
