How would you describe this chapter of your life, and what do you think that its teaching you?

These days are days of change. My school is closing this month, forever. I have been working there for five years, and that made me stop and think what I’m going to do with my life in the future. Because I’m not from here, and this job was a big part of my everyday life. I am thinking if I go back to Spain, and I need to start making decisions around my life, with what I am going to do in the future.

And its teaching me to learn how to go with the flow. That when things happen, its for a reason, and I need to be open for what is coming.

Yeah, I think it's good. I’ve been here seven years, and I think this chapter is closing right now. I am enjoying the city, I love the city, If I leave the city I will miss her, because I love living here.

But I think now is a good point to go back and enjoy being more quiet. I am designer, but I have been teaching art and music for a long time and I would love to do my project now. I think it's time to go back to my art.

How does it feel reflecting back on what you’ve done here - the chapter you started five years ago?

It was the best decision of my life. Coming to New York changed my life forever. It was a big step for me, I came here with nothing and now I have a really good life here with my friends, my husband, and I think it was a very good decision in my life, and I am going to be another person now when I come back to my country.
